Welcome to the Joe Nuxhall Classic, an annual celebration of college baseball, community spirit, and the legacy of a Cincinnati legend, all rolled into one unforgettable event. Named in honor of Joe Nuxhall, the youngest player to ever grace a Major League Baseball field and a cherished sports figure in the area, this annual event brings together baseball fans, families, and students for two exhilarating days of baseball at Prasco Park.
The Joe Nuxhall Classic showcases the talents of four beloved hometown teams: Miami University (Ohio), University of Cincinnati, Wright State University, and Xavier University. These teams bring their best to the diamond, battling it out in a series of games that promise to keep you on the edge of your seat from the first pitch to the last out.
Get ready for an action-packed week filled with fun, festivities, and, of course, fantastic baseball at the Joe Nuxhall Classic! We've lined up an array of thrilling activities to enhance your experience at Prasco Park. Here's what's in store for you:
Daily Highlights:
- Inflatables: Kick off the excitement with our inflatable attractions, starting at 5 PM every day. Perfect for kids and the young at heart!
- Giveaways: Keep an eye out for our awesome giveaways throughout the week. You never know what surprises might be in store!
- Sweet Treats: Indulge your sweet tooth with delicious treats from The Cone, Chill Out Truck, and Sweet Maize. From ice cream to popcorn, we've got something for everyone.
Special Partnerships:
- April 9: Skyline Time: Join us for Skyline Time at Prasco Park! Each guest will receive a free cheese coney (up to 2 per person while supplies last), starting at 4 PM. It's the perfect way to enjoy Cincinnati's favorite chili with friends and family while cheering on your favorite team.

ENTRY TO THE EVENT
At Prasco Park, there's no need for tickets or worrying about expenses. We're proud to offer a completely free experience for all our guests, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the excitement of the Joe Nuxhall Classic without any barriers. Here's what you can expect:
- Admission: Walk right in and enjoy the games! There are no tickets required for entry, so feel free to bring your family, friends, and even your neighbors along for the fun.
- Concessions: Hungry or thirsty? No problem! Our concessions stand is fully stocked with delicious options and refreshing beverages, all available to you at no cost. From our famous Diamond Dog to a delicious Good Burger to sodas, we've got everything you need to keep your energy up throughout the games.
- General Admission Seating: For our valued fans, we offer general admission seating options located in the bleachers along the right and left field lines. Additionally, if you prefer a more elevated view, we have grandstands available in the outfield.
PARKING
We want to make sure that your experience at Prasco Park for the Joe Nuxhall Classic is as convenient and accessible as possible. That's why we offer onsite parking for all our guests, including accommodations for ADA accessible needs. Here's what you need to know about parking:
- Onsite Parking: Convenient parking is available right at Prasco Park for all attendees. You can simply drive in, park your vehicle, and head straight to the excitement of the games without any hassle.
- ADA Accessible Parking: We are committed to ensuring that everyone can enjoy the event comfortably. That's why we provide designated ADA accessible parking spaces onsite, making it easier for guests with mobility challenges to access the venue.
- Overflow Parking: In the rare event that our onsite parking lot reaches capacity, don't worry! Our dedicated parking team will be onsite to assist you. They'll direct you to our overflow parking location at Crossroads Church (990 Reading Rd, Mason, OH 45040), ensuring that you can still find a convenient place to park. Shuttles will be available throughout the event to take guests to and from the venue.

CODE OF CONDUCT
Prasco park remains committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for persons who visit our facility. Please read our Code of Conduct, which promotes an enjoyable, family-friendly environment.
In order to promote a safe, comfortable, and family-friendly atmosphere, Prasco Park and Legacy Field employs a Code of Conduct.
The following Code of Conduct is intended to enhance the safety and enjoyment of all guests.
- As part of the Prasco campus, Prasco Park is a tobacco and alcohol free facility.
- Guests will enjoy the park free from profane or abusive language and obscene gestures.
- Obscene or indecent clothing will not detract from guests’ experience.
- Intervention with an unruly, impaired, or intoxicated guest will be handled in a prompt and safe manner.
- The progress of the concert will not be disrupted by guests’ actions or by unauthorized persons on the concourse or stage. All trespassers in restricted zones will be aggressively prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
- Guests will refrain from displays of affection not appropriate in a public, family setting.
- Children will be supervised by responsible adults at all times.
- Pets will not be permitted on the premises.
